Photo Booth FUN!! :D

Kymi and I had a bit of time this morning before we had to be off and running errands so we decided to play with the Mac photo booth... and boy did we laugh!!! Look at all this crazy FUN!!

We have had a great celebration of love this weekend!! Last night we had a blast attending a Flat Stanley play downtown... complete with brownies and milk at the end. This morning Greg made breakfast and passed out his Valentines cards (homemade!! :D) and presents. We all went to the movies and munched on popcorn. For dinner we had Chinese...hot & sour soup YUM, my favorite!! The kids and Greg peeked in their special treat bags from Mama with dinner. We ended the evening with a rousing game of Wii golf (Papa & I lost BAD!!!), stories & prayers. I loved our family day together!! I think we will have fondue tomorrow with Grammy & Grampa...this love celebrating is too much fun to stop!! XOXOOX

Praising God for my MIRACLE kids today!! :D

I am praising God for my kids...thanking Him that I have had the incredible honor to become a mom!! I found out yesterday that I have something really wrong with me... Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. It is what has caused my infertility and loss of the other 3 babies I carried. My heart is broken for the loss...it feels raw and fresh! If only they had caught it sooner... What might have been?? I am reminded that we live in a hurting and imperfect world. It makes me long for Home. God did not want it this way. I am also reminded of the GREAT God He is!! If there were nothing else, He WOULD be enough!! It is okay to be sad...I know that and I will give myself the permission to grieve. "I will stumble, I will fall down but I WILL NOT BE MOVED! I will make mistakes, I will face heartaches but I will NOT BE MOVED! On Christ the SOLID rock I stand, ALL other ground is sinking sand...I will NOT be moved..." Thanks for "listening"...I feel better having written this out... I appreciate your prayers as I take the steps to get my body to better health. xoxox

My parents are still GOOGLY after 47 years together!!

Yesterday we took Greg to lunch for his birthday and were enjoying our conversations... my Dad told about my Mom wearing a new outfit to church that morning and how all eyes were on her because she's such a FOX!!! It was so darling!!! My mom was beaming!! I love that my parents are still crazy about each other after all these years!! :D It is a blessing to my heart and a testimony that though tough time WILL and DO come in marriage...the hard work invested to keep it intact and growing is SO worth it!! XO

This last year has been a flurry of excitement for our birthday guy!! He graduated from college!! His claim to fame is that he crammed 4 years into 20!! :D Then he began to prepare our home for sale and put in many long hours. Throughout the AK summer we enjoyed many family camping trips!! Greg had a blast dip-netting for the first (and last :() time, we did our favorite Homer beach trip, and finally made it to Denali!! We wanted to make lots of great memories with our dear AK family before we moved...After packing, selling our house (all by ourselves and for more than we marketed it for...God is so good!!!), we had an adventurous drive down the Alcan! Greg then set to work fixing up our new home and landed a job here in CO. He has been busy, but, has enjoyed life along the way. He especially LOVES all the sunshine, biking and running opportunities all year long here in CO...he takes full advantage of it all!!! Never a dull moment with this guy!! Happy, Happy Birthday PAPA!!! We wish you a wonderful new year!!! XOXOXO

The AWANA Grand Prix 2009

What a great night for the Zydonis family!! The AWANA Grand Prix was SO fun!! David and Greg worked feverishly to make the perfect racer and WOW!!!! David had three 1st Place wins and one 2nd Place!!! The pictures say it all!! :D
