I am forwarding to your email address two house listings, both in SD. One is the house Russ wanted to by last night, the other is one he is just going to write a check for (he found this one on Craig's list). Who told him to shop for houses on Craig's List? Was it you?
I'm super glad your cactus made it across the border with you, God is good.
Hey, my parents were just in BC, too bad you couldn't have connected up. I know my mom would have loved to have seen you and the kids.
Do you like tomato soup? Monica and I had Tomato Basil soup at Applebees the other day, it was so good, I found a recipe that is even better. When you get to your new home I will send it, it is also very easy to make! That makes it the best when it is easy!!
Love to ya,
Barb
I told the girls we would try and call, so hopefully it will go through.
Oh, I can't help you on loading pictures, I tried to load the one of you driving down the highway, but I couldn't get it to work, I so I am guessing you are the only one that can add pics. I bet Jackie can help you out though.

I wish I could help you out, Tam! I love pictures! How are you trying to load them?

See you in the funny papers!

Love,

Jax

Well, we tried to call, but we got the "fast busy" signal, which I will guess that is because you are in Canada and your cell doesn't work there. We will keep trying, but in the meantime I will have the girls write you letters and I will post them on the blog.
By the way, the snow is coming farther down the valley here in Eagle River. It is beautiful to look at as we are walking to school.

Barb

Sunday I drove to Victory Bible Camp with the retreat planning team and it was beautiful!! If it is anything like what you are seeing you will never get bored. The mountains are just flaming red! We are doing a masquerade theme for our retreat with a ball, costumes and the whole nine yards. I can't wait@! The theme is Remove the Mask. This year was definitely the year that made everyone want to move. I don't know if we will ever leave the state.....except for vacation. Has anyone held on to the door jamb yet when you try to get them in the car for the next leg? Don't count yourself :0) Gotta run! We are headed out the door.....what else is new!
Love ya friend!

Ok here is your first letter from Maggie, word for word.
Dear Mrs. Tammy and Family,
We're sad that you left us. We hope you would come up to visit sometime. How's your new house (I don't think she gets that you are driving for a long time)? We remember all the fun we had with you guys. Could you please ask David if he still remembers our karate moves? I really liked when we did trick-or-treat in the heat with us. That ws a lot of fun. Did you know Anika broke her leg? She had a bone on the side of her food crack in half. She had one side of her bone crack a little and on the other side too (I believe some of this is incorrect). So the doctors put a cast on it and she has to use crutches.
Well we're sorry you moved and we miss you but we'll see you soon.
Love,
Maggie

Wow, Barb! Things are changing daily at your pad... I can't wait to hear details. I would have loved to see your folks here...small world we live in...
Yes, I would love the soup recipe...do send. Thanks for thinking about the girls writing since you could'nt get thru...

Trudy, your retreat sounds like a blast!!! I am SURE you did the planning! Nobody has held on to door jams yet (except me!)... I am keeping them pretty busy. They are great little travelers!

Sweet Maggie! Thanks for writing! We miss you too! We are not to Colorado yet...we are still driving there. It takes a LONG time. We are having fun along the way playing games, snacking, looking at God's beautiful creation. David does wish he had less homework (His Mama is a toughie teacher!), but, he is enjoying it too...especially the reading. (Just like you!) He wishes he could do karate moves with you today. Yes, I did know about Anika. I even got to sign her cast. By 4 now, Sweetie! Love you, Mrs Tam & Fam
