Wild life we have seen so far...

Buffalo galore, moose, reindeer (at Santa's house), elk, geese, carabou, and stone sheep...so cool!! We also saw THE COOLEST "Sign Post Forrest" at Watson lake. We played there about an hour looking at all the signs and climbing on old tractors. There was a stage in the center where David asked Kymi to dance...there was twirling, dipping, check kisses...DARLING!!! I'm sure Greg & I were not nearly as cute, but, the kids LOVED watching us...they laughed and beamed...it will be a memory I carry all my life.
I think we have traveled 1600 miles so far? We are at Port Nelson tonight. Sweet Dreams 2 all, Tam

Wow, what excitement. Oh, yes, I remember all the sign posts, I think I might even have a picture, I need to get my album out. I was just looking at a map to see where you were, so I had to come back and check your blog for the town and noticed that you added. I am not lurking around waiting for you to blog, it just happened that we must have been on about the same time.
Sounds like the kiddos are doing great with the trip, praise the Lord! I bet you've taken tons of pictures. Sorry you can't post them yet, hopefully when you get home.
Ok, off to fold laundry, thrill thrill.
Good night,
Barb

Hi Tammy:

One of my forrest friends, Mr. Sasquatch, has helped me with my new online ID.

If I can log on successfully tomorrow, I can stay in touch with you during your whole trip !

Sleepy, Grumpy and Dopey have gone to bed early tonight. I am left with Chloe and Riley; but they have forrest friend visitors they like to bark at late at night.

Make sure you look at my picture profile.

Drive carefully. Mr. Sasquatch said to tell Greg, that South is a right turn from Watson Lake.

Hey Tam,

Try this for loading pictures. (Don't worry about Picasa right now.) Load them like normal in "my pictures". When you are posting, click on the little picture icon in the post, browse the "my pictures" section of your computer and click on the picture you want. Upload it and then save it. If you already tried that, disregard this post. Ha!

Can you tell I'm visual and missing your pictures??

Hugs,

Jax

Hello Snowwhite,

We stayed at FT Nelson, Canada last night and then today were off to Dawson Creek (270+ miles away). We're making great progress. We"re looking at staying in Edmonton for the day so we can check out the mall and waterpark for the kids.

Tammy, kids,Lexy and I are having fun! Who's sleepy, Grumpy, and Dopey? New cats/dogs?

I thought I was Grumpy!

Anyway, talk to you later.
Greg

Hi guys,
This is my first attempt to send you something. I hope it works! Yes Greg you are Gumpy, but only sometimes. You are much happier since you married Tammy and have your wonderful children,David and Kymi.
You can probably guess who Sasquatch is. I'm glad to hear that you all are having a good trip and seeing some beautiful scenery. Good idea Tammy, having a blog. Now the "compound" can "shag a ride" as Jamie says. We just did the Celebration of Life Women's Triathlon on Sunday. We got an award for having 3 generations on our team. Christina, Jamie and me.
Drive safely and God Bless.
Love,
Snowwhite

Cool beans! I am sure you are seeing more wildlife than we have seen all summer. The only thing we have seen besides the most annoying raven ever is a porcupine or two and momma moose and a couple of babies. Zac actually ran over a porc the other night or that was just his excuse for being past curfew. Sean Hannity is going to be interviewing Sarah on Fox. It airs tonight and tomorrow night. Check out onenewsnow.com for a better picture of what is really going on. He's a non-biased news reporter that is calling all these journalist on the carpet with this interview. USA will finally get to hear what they need to hear, not what Charlie Gibson wants them to hear. I hope they have it online. That is about the only way I will get to see it without interruption. Okay, enough politics.
Are sasquatch and snowwhite's initials G&M? Just curious. It's killing me, you know. You guys have a great day! I am signing off because I really get a cramp in my fingers when I type while on the treadmill.
Love ya!
Trudy
PS Grumpy should be Happy real soon, you are closer to the sunshine than we are!

I'm hoping all is well on your journey!
This morning I heard a song, I think the title might be "I'm in Love with a girl named Sarah Palin." I thought of you with the SNL outtake. Later I heard another song about her, too funny.
We saw the sun for a while today. It showed us just how far the snow was moving down the mountains, it's getting closer. It can't get here yet, I have to get the playroom cleaned out before the snow flies. I don't want to haul stuff through the snow.
How was the big mall? I bet you all had a blast.
I can't believe it has only been a week since you left, seems like forever.
Here's to safe travels tomorrow (I'm tippin' a glass of milk and havin' a peanut butter rice crispie bar, covered with chocolate). So much for a healthy diet!
Oh, I broke down and looked at baby items on Craig's list. Funny thing, one thing I wanted is from someone that works at the borough with Russ.
Oh, no Russ didn't write a check for that house, but it was kinda funny wasn't it. He actually google mapped it and said that the price must have been a mistake. We are not moving for at least a couple years, so I'm not going to look at houses anymore.
Give the kiddos a hug and kiss from all of us, and they can give ya one back.
Love ya,
Barb
Oh ya, did ya notice I changed my screen name? Next Wed., if it is the other, I will change it to that color, just for you :o)

hey Barb
I heard if you want a girl, eat lots of chocolate. If you want a boy, eat lots of chips and salsa. So, you are on the right track. :~)
Tam must be out of luck for internet connections or she shopped so much she got grounded from it. :~)
Well, Tammy, if you ever read this, we hope you shopped lots and didn't get busted although, we wish we were there to shop with you.
Love ya,
Gert

Greg,
If you ever read this, we hope we have kept you quite entertained upon your journey through the wilderness. Maybe you can convince Rick it was worth the ride.
Blessings!

Trudy,
I guess maybe that would explain my wanting to eat an entire box of Russell Stovers chocolate candies! Not much of a chips and salsa craving right now. 6 more days and counting, we'll see if Russ, Monica and Tammy are right, they are leaning toward the chips and salsa. Oh, yea, then I can tell my girls exactly why it is that I'm "not getting skinny" at the moment. Carlee asked me that the other day, I just told her that maybe next year I would. he, he
Barb
Miss ya Tam, too bad you weren't here in person to harrass.

See, you guys don't even need me! You still have each other! I have never heard about the chocolate & chips thing... You guts crack me up!! Now, let's see if I can get on to do a new blog... U R right... it's been no go on connections. Oh, Greg says to tell Rick it is DEFINATELY worth the trip!!

littleboyblue said...

Oh, don't kid yourself, we need you here, it is more fun to laugh with friends together than over the internet where you can hear each other.

oops, my last post should have said where you can't hear each other
