Thanks for the pics Tammy. Everyone looks happy and healthy. You are a night owl. I bet Greg was asleep. I'm glad to hear that David likes his new school and that Greg bought you a car on eBay. Sounds like things are falling into place nicely.
Have you experienced any of the famous Colorado thunderstorms yet?
We are having our first rain since last Feb. I rushed out and bought new tires and window wiper blades. I was following Robert's advice on getting the most mileage out of my tires. They had absolutely no more tread.
Sasquatch will like the picture you posted of him. He is very vain.
I'm enjoying your blog. A good way to keep in touch.
Love to all,
Gams

Hi Gams!
Yes! I am a night owl! I get so much done after everyone else is asleep. This morning we needed to be up by 5am, though, to get Greg to the airport (to pick up the car...) and boy am I sleepy now! Thankfully, my Mom came over to stay with the kids so we didn't have to drag them out of their warm beds. It's SO nice being near family!!! Already it has helped a ton! When we went to get CO liscences and it was taking FOREVER we called my parents to pick David up at school for us...so nice!
We actually had our first thunderstorm last night... I LOVED it! The kids were a bit nervous at first, but, then caught the beauty and excitement of it as well.
I was cracking up at the sight of this little old lady driving a pick-up the other day and Greg was offended saying, "My Mom drives a truck." Well, the truck totally fits you Gams! This lady was blue haired with lots of bright pink lipstick and thick glasses; hunched over the stearing wheel... It was a funny sight! Anyway, I'm glad you are all set for winter with new tires and blades!
We got all the supplies to paint downstairs, then we will do the wood floors...I will post pictures as soon as we have some fun things done.
I saw that Jake is on a teen coalition for the prevention of meth use...how awesome!! He is turning his heartache into something life perpetuating and positive. I am so proud of him!! Are you in touch with Karen at all? We really want to send them something and are not quite sure how to do that? Can we send that through you again, or, do you have an address for them? Thanks Gams!!! Have a glorious day!! I am off to garage sale with my mom and the kids... Love, Tam

Hi Tammy,
I hope Greg made it home safely with your new car. How's the yard sales going? What a great way to pick up things for your house etc. I bet your mom enjoys them too. Ducky and I are going to have a rummage sale at the Vet's Hall on the 18th. Hopefully Jamie will join in too. We raised money last year for Karen and had a lot of fun doing it. After this month, yard sales will be over until the spring.
Have fun with your house painting. Didn't you just do that in Alaska?
Love,
Gams
